The German wire manufacturer recently held an open house to officially open its new U.S. headquarters in the Chicago suburbs.

Wire and cable manufacturer Helukabel, Stuttgart, Germany, recently held an open house and “cable ribbon”-cutting ceremony to officially open its new 75,000-square-foot U.S. headquarters in the Chicago suburb of West Dundee, IL.

The new facility sits on an eight-acre parcel in the Oakview Corporate Park at 1201 Wesemann Drive. This is the first phase of a buildout that allows for future on-site expansions to accommodate a facility of over 200,000 square feet as the company continues to grow. This investment marks an important milestone in the company’s short history in the United States as it solidifies its continued commitment and expansion in North America, Helukabel said in a press release.

Helukabel USA, started operations in 2007 in a 13,000-square-foot facility and expanded into a 43,000-square-foot facility just five years ago.
