As noted in Sec. 708.10(B) of the 2014 NEC, wiring from a COPS source or COPS source distribution overcurrent protection to critical loads shall be kept entirely independent of all other wiring and equipment, except when installed in transfer equipment enclosures, as noted in the Exception of this Code Section.
