Updated every three years, the National Electrical Code® (NEC) is a crucial guide that details safety measures and regulations in the ever-evolving electrical industry. In the 2023 edition of the NEC, there are several important changes for commercial and industrial buildings that require a change to standard design and installation practices.

In this webinar, we’ll dive into those key changes and what they mean for electrical contractors, installers, designers, and inspectors. Topics include:

  • Worker safety changes: Arc Flash Hazard Marking, Equipment Working Space, Barriers for Equipment Supplied by a Feeder Tap,
  • Equipment and system safety changes: Surge Protection, Selective Coordination, Cybersecurity, Source Line-Side Connections,  Redundant Transfer Equipment for Emergency Systems
  • Energy management systems: Load Calculations, EMS Performance
  • … and more!
