Summary
The U.S. is undergoing massive change as we move to electrify nearly everything. This presents new challenges for electrical contractors trying to balance complex project needs while maintaining workforce safety and efficiency. We’ll discuss digital technology using augmented reality (AR) for safer equipment installation and remote monitoring tools allowing greater workforce flexibility.
Federal funding and local incentives are driving a major transformation in our electrical infrastructure. There is a significant shift to renewable energy sources. Utilities and industries are building microgrids with battery energy storage systems. Commercial and consumer EV growth continues to accelerate.
All of this requires new infrastructure that can strain the electrical contractor workforce. We’ll show how contractors and service personnel can quickly adapt using new technology to keep pace with the energy transition safely and efficiently.
