Automatic Transfer Switches provide power source selection functions fundamental to backup power system operation. In this webinar, ASCO will review the essential functions of Automatic Transfer Switches and how their principal components work together to reliably transfer electrical load between sources.

The session will review the benefits of service-entrance and bypass-isolation ATS configurations, and how available operating sequences can meet the needs of specific loads and facilities, including mission-critical applications. Experts will also explain how ASCO’s new PowerLogic™ Source Controller can bring greater intelligence, simplicity, and serviceability to meet emerging power challenges.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify essential Automatic Transfer Switch functions
  • Identify ATS components and their specific function and operation.
  • Understand Service Entrance and Bypass-Isolation configurations and their benefits.
  • Understand how ATS transition modes benefit specific load types and applications.
  • Evaluate how the latest ATS controllers can bring intelligence, simplicity, and serviceability benefits to new and existing switches.
