National Craft Championships Seeks Competitors

The National Craft Championships is currently seeking competitors from ABC chapter training programs, ABC members firms, and ABC-approved training programs

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is transforming its EdCon & Expo into the 21st Century Workforce Development Conference. The conference is scheduled to be held April 30 to May 3 in Birmingham, Ala., and will include ABC’s National Craft Championships, featuring apprentices from across the country competing in 11 construction crafts; ABC’s Student Chapter Construction Management Competition, with teams of college and university students testing their project management, estimating, and presentation skills; and two-and-a-half day educational academies geared toward green building, human resources, jobsite management, safety, and workforce development professionals.

The National Craft Championships is currently seeking competitors from ABC chapter training programs, ABC members firms, and ABC-approved training programs. The intent-to-compete registration deadline is December 7. For more information, visit the National Craft Championships website.
