Compared to 2006, the June 2007 value of active industrial projects in North America is up 40.21%, continuing a three-month trend of increasing growth, reports Industrial Info Resources of Sugar Land, Texas. Presently, more than $300 billion in active projects have begun construction or are scheduled to begin construction in 2007. The largest growth increase has been seen by the alternative fuels industry, with $44 billion in active projects for 2007. The petroleum refining industry is the second largest growth industry in 2007, with 195.77% growth measured.
