Greenlee Textron Plans Acquisition

Greenlee Textron recently announced its agreement to acquire Tempo Research Corp., Vista, Calif. Terms of the transaction, which is scheduled to close in January, were not disclosed. The deal includes a project line of multifunction test sets recently acquired by Tempo from Tektronix, Inc. "This acquisition expands our telecommunications test and installation product line and technical capabilities, while providing an opportunity to introduce Tempo products through our global distribution channels," says Barclay Olson, Greenlee Textron's president.
