The company decreased its electricity use in Santa Rosa by more than 7% since 2006, saving more than 2 million kilowatt hours.

  • Sarasota, Fla.-based Clockwork Home Services recently announced that Mister Sparky America’s On-time Electrician is ranked among the nation’s top 500 franchises for 2009, according to Entrepreneur’s 30th annual Franchise 500 list. Mister Sparky ranked No. 387 on the list.

  • Little Neck, N.Y.-based Leviton Manufacturing Co. has entered into a strategic partnership with EnOcean GmbH, Boston, to offer a line of self-powered occupancy sensors that increases energy efficiency and requires no new wiring. The sensors combine Leviton’s styling and performance features with EnOcean’s reliable wireless technology. The result is a commercial product offering that offers significant energy-savings benefits and reduced installation time and expense.
