Maine Adopts 2017 NEC

The Pine Tree State is next in line to put newest edition of National Electrical Code into effect.

According to a recent edition of Code Alerts from the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, the state of Maine officially adopted the 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC) as of Nov. 6, 2017 as the official Electrical Installation Standards. Read other amendments the state has made on the Board of Electricians website.
