Square D Premium 30 transformers comply with NEMA Premium Efficiency Transformer Program specifications. Offering mounting dimensions consistent with Square D TP1 and general-purpose transformers, the units feature 3-in. clearances from all ventilated openings that require less overall installation floor space compared to the industry standard of 6 in. Additional features include routine terminal location and wiring compartment designs that meet the NEC bending requirement, large terminals that allow lugs to handle cables of 250% on the primary and 125% on the secondary, and neutral terminals that allow cables for 250% of nameplate current accommodating loads requiring 200% neutrals.
