Bobcat Co., West Fargo, N.D., and Polaris Industries, Medina, Minn., recently formed a long-term strategic alliance that will leverage the complementary strengths of both companies to penetrate work-related market segments globally.
  • Bobcat Co., West Fargo, N.D., and Polaris Industries, Medina, Minn., recently formed a long-term strategic alliance that will leverage the complementary strengths of both companies to penetrate work-related market segments globally. With a planned launch by the second half of 2010, the alliance will include co-development of work vehicles, supply of highly differentiated work vehicles, and technology sharing.

  • EDSA Micro Corp., San Diego, is establishing an operations center in Raleigh, N.C., to better serve the growing demand for its products and services in the Eastern United States. The new operations center will initially house executive, sales, engineering, and software development.

  • Cooper Industries , Houston, has joined the Wireless Industrial Technology Konsortium (WiTECK) as a promoter member. Cooper is the ninth member of the group and will hold seats on the WiTECK board of directors.

  • Inpro/Seal Co., Rock Island, Ill., recently reported that its sales for calendar year 2008 were 14% ahead of last year and the best in the company's 31-year history. Based on advance orders, projections, outstanding quotations, and product development, the company is on track for a 20% increase in 2009.

  • The Cooper Bussmann, St. Louis, Paul P. Gubany Center now offers both AC and DC testing to help original equipment manufacturers meet end-user demand for new electrical products and comply with global safety standards. The facility can now conduct high-fault testing at 80Vdc for telecommunications over-current protective devices.
