  • NorthEast Electrical Distributors, Canton, Mass., a subsidiary of Sonepar USA, Philadelphia, recently opened a new branch in Milford, Mass. The new location will occupy 7,400 total square feet, including a 1,400 square-foot storefront and merchandised counter area.

  • The special projects division of Winter Park. Fla.-based Palmer Electric Co. has secured a $165,000 design-build contract to provide electrical contracting for a new M & I Bank branch in Oviedo, Fla. Under contract with McCree General Contractors & Architects, Palmer is providing wiring for site and building electrical along with the wiring and installation of the fire alarm and security systems for the one-story, 6,200- square-foot bank with three drive-throughs.

  • Grafton, Mass.-based PowerSURE Corp. recently signed a non-exclusive license agreement with Intermatic Inc., Spring Grove, Ill., a manufacturer of consumer and industrial energy control products. Using PowerSURE’s intellectual property, Intermatic will manufacture, distribute and sell LED-based power failure emergency lights that install in standard electrical wall boxes.
