East Longmeadow, Mass.-based LENOX, a manufacturer of power tool accessories, torches, solder, and band saw blades, recently announced the kick-off of the LENOX Extra Mile Heroes Program. NASCAR driver Jeff Burton and LENOX are conducting a search for users and suppliers of industrial tools who go the extra mile. The winner of the LENOX Extra Mile Heroes Program could receive up to $1 million to split with their charity of choice.
In recognition of the LENOX Extra Mile Heroes, the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) NASCAR Sprint Cup race has added a lap, making it the LENOX Industrial Tools 301. For the first time in NASCAR history, the length of the Sprint Cup race will be 301 laps to honor the efforts of these heroes. To enter go to www.lenoxhero.com and submit the story of the hero in your life and why you think they should be the LENOX Extra Mile Hero. All entries must be received on or before November 30.
