  • Columbus, Ohio-based Besa Lighting will relocate to a new headquarters and national distribution center this autumn, nearly tripling the size of its current facility. It will serve as a national warehousing and distribution center for the complete Besa Lighting line.
  • Richmond, Ind.-based Belden and New York City-based Extricom, the designer of Interference-Free wreless LAN system, recently announced a technology partnership. The focus of the agreement will be on developing enterprise Wi-Fi products, enabled by Extricom's core technology.
  • The General Electric Co., through its Consumer & Industrial business and the Nichia Corp., recently formed an alliance agreement to support GELcore LLC, Cleveland. GELcore, formed in 1999, was previously a joint venture between GE and the Emcore Corp. of Somerset, N.J.
