John Holland Appointed President of the International Copper Association

John Holland has been appointed president of the International Copper Association (ICA)

John Holland has been appointed president of the International Copper Association (ICA). Holland holds the senior management responsibility for all aspects of the organization. His position is based in New York, and he will oversee ICA's global operations, which extend across six continents. Holland will also serve as president of the ICA Management Committee. He joins the organization at a critical juncture, as ICA begins implementation of its new strategic plan.

Holland brings 40 years' experience in a range of financial, management, and senior executive roles in the manufacturing, construction and consulting industries. He spent 24 years at Butler Manufacturing Co., a multinational building products company, serving as its CEO and chairman of the board where he led the strategic transaction to a global steel products company in 2004. He also has been involved in managing early-stage and private equity funded companies. He is currently on three public company boards: Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.; Saia, Inc.; and NCI Building Systems, Inc. Holland has also served on the Board of the National Association of Manufacturers. He is a certified public accountant and holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science, Business and Accounting from the University of Kansas.
