Solar power array will be one of the largest systems in Oregon

Portland, Ore.-based Dynalectric, a subsidiary of Norwalk, Conn.-based EMCOR Group, recently began work on a solar power array for Portland Habilitation Center, a non-profit organization that trains and employs individuals with disabilities throughout Oregon and Washington state. When completed, the array will be one of the largest solar electric systems in Oregon.

Dynalectric will design and install the solar array and all supporting electrical systems, which comprise 4,830 solar panels, an 870kW DC solar array, and a wiring system designed to maximize the efficiency of its photovoltaic (PV) capabilities.
