Leviton Mourns Death of CEO and Chairman Harold Leviton

Business leader leaves legacy of market innovation, philanthropy, and goodwill

It is with great sadness that Leviton Manufacturing Co. recently announced the death of its Chairman and CEO Harold Leviton, 90, on Sept. 8. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughters Patricia, Adrienne, and Elizabeth; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

During his lifetime, Leviton received numerous distinguished awards, including the Anti-Defamation Torch of Liberty Award, the Wire and Cable Club of America’s Charles D. Scott Distinguished Career Award, NEMA’s Falk Award, and the Medal of Merit of the Portuguese Communities from the Government of Portugal.
