Mr. Electric, a residential and commercial electrical service and repair company with more than 200 franchises worldwide, is pleased to announce its selection of Joel Worthington as the new VP of Operations. Worthington has worked as a franchise consultant and franchise development for Mr. Electric for more than two years.

“Becoming the VP marks the beginning of an exciting new phase in my career,” said Worthington. “The fact that I have already established close relationships with my coworkers will make this transition feel natural.”

Worthington graduated with a degree in professional studies from Southwestern University. A long time employee of The Dwyer Group, he has an excellent track record for high- quality performance and has over 20 years of experience in sales, management, and training. The Dwyer Group is a Waco, Texas-based franchise management company that provides a support staff for the franchisees of Mr. Rooter, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Glass Doctor, The Grounds Guys, AireServ, and Rainbow International.

“Joel’s extensive background in franchising and management makes him the perfect choice for VP of Operations,” said Jeff Meyers, president of Mr. Electric. “His knowledge and experience with the Mr. Electric franchisees will make him a great asset to our company.”

Worthington will be responsible for helping the franchise consultants and support staff provide a positive impact on the financial health of the Mr. Electric franchisees, and he welcomes the opportunity to continue the growth of the Mr. Electric franchise.
