Overland Park, Kan.-based Sprint was recently ranked No. 1 for overall satisfaction for wireless voice service providers and No. 1 in overall satisfaction for wireless data service providers in a survey of large business decision makers, according to a study by Boston-based Yankee Group, an independent research firm, and Mobile Enterprise Magazine. The study indicates Sprint ranked first in overall satisfaction in wireless voice and data and, in voice services, ranked first or second in nine of the 10 categories among large business customers.
The study, which is summarized in Mobile Enterprise Magazine's January/February 2010 issue, will be released in its entirety by Yankee Group later this month. According to the report, "Sprint and Verizon dominate voice service satisfaction [among large businesses]. … Sprint again earns strong satisfaction scores [in data services], finishing first in overall satisfaction among large businesses."
Polling occurred in November 2009 among respondents from both Yankee Group's Anywhere Enterprise panel of business decision makers and Mobile Enterprise Magazine's readership, and totaled 274 large business respondents (in companies with more than 500 employees), and 292 small and medium business respondents (in companies with 500 employees or fewer).
