The building was part of a block of historic buildings. The majority of the fire was contained in the original building, which contains Danemiller Electric and a pizza restaurant. The restaurant was a total loss, but Danemiller Electric suffered some smoke damage. It remained open for business, news outlets reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
