Electrical Fire Reported at Downtown Phoenix Hotel

There was an electrical fire on the first floor or in the building's electrical vault and that the hotel had to be evacuated.

Several explosions were heard in the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix hotel this past Saturday. KTAR News reported that there was an electrical fire on the first floor or in the building's electrical vault and that the hotel had to be evacuated.

Firefighters and utility workers responded, and no injuries were reported.

Situated in the center of downtown next to the city convention center, the Sheraton has about 1,000 rooms and 80,000 square feet of meeting space.
