    McCauley is director of engineering at Consolidated Consulting Corporation (CCC) with offices in Vero Beach, Fla. and River Forest, Ill. He has more than 35 years of experience in the electrical power industry in positions of increasing technical and managerial responsibility, including the design and analysis of electrical distribution systems for electrical generating stations and industrial facilities. Before setting up CCC, he was electrical design director at Sargent & Lundy in Chicago. CCC provides electrical engineering consulting services to other engineering firms and industrial companies. An ever-growing part of CCC's business is the provision of litigation support services to attorneys and insurance companies in cases involving electrical accidents, electrical equipment failures, and malfunctions. A registered professional engineer in Florida, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin, he is a life senior member of the IEEE, a member of NSPE, and a member of NFPA.
