    While the national economic news isn't all that great, here are the top 10 picks for large metropolitan statistical areas that are powering their way through the recession, tracking well above — and, at times, double or triple — the year-over-year (YOY) or year-to-date (YTD) growth rates of their states as well as the nation as a whole.
