An electrician from Chandler, Arizona, won the second place Powerball lottery last month. Alvin Yazzie bought three Powerball tickets at a store in Chandler, and won the $1 million prize.

According to the Associated Press, he didn't think he had won anything after he heard the $425 million winning ticket was sold in California, but then went online to check his ticket and realized he won.

Yazzie says he and his wife celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in December and now will be able to celebrate with a vacation to Hawaii. He’ll get about $700,000 after taxes, according to the AP report.
