Don't make light of this fixture

The lampholder in this recessed incandescent lighting fixture was discovered under a mini shopping mall overhang in Minneapolis, Minn. The extension cord was plugged into a screw-shell adapter that was used to supply another adapter. It energized a string of decorative lighting that was secured to the entire perimeter of the overhang. This violates Section 410-47. Lampholders of the screw-shell type

The lampholder in this recessed incandescent lighting fixture was discovered under a mini shopping mall overhang in Minneapolis, Minn. The extension cord was plugged into a screw-shell adapter that was used to supply another adapter. It energized a string of decorative lighting that was secured to the entire perimeter of the overhang.

This violates Section 410-47. Lampholders of the screw-shell type shall be installed for use as lampholders only.
