John Escoto, electrical supervisor from the Coachella Valley, Calif., Water District, snapped this photo of a violation he found in a newly-installed pump station he was inspecting. He said, I guess the electrician thought that this support method was acceptable. The box straps were actually electrical metallic tubing straps that were hammered out to form the support brackets. Note: Section 348-14 requires that boxes and fittings must comply with the applicable provisions of Article 370.
