This line of Knipex pliers has been redesigned with Knipex Comfort handles for a super-tight grip.

Imported from Germany and now available in the U.S. through electrical distributors, these pliers are designed for superior gripping power because of their increased leverage and ergonomic comfort. The tool's self-gripping jaws eliminate squeezing and offer maximum leverage ratios that reduce hand force to a minimum.

The pliers' handles offer a hard surface to reduce friction as the hand slides along the grip; a “gripping zone” with a soft, spongy texture that permits the force of heavy gripping without slipping; and a broad, contoured shape to spread the load and eliminate pressure points. The company uses similar design technology on handles for its lineman's pliers, needlenose pliers, cable shears and cutters. Anglo American Enterprises Corp.
