NEW YORK - David Owens of Dimeglio Electric, Norwalk, Conn., walked away from the Electric 2000 Show $5,000 richer, thanks to an ASCO promotion. ASCO sponsored the promotion in conjunction with Continental Exhibitions, which owns and manages the Electric Show. All attendees received an ASCO Power Player Card as part of their attendee package. They also could acquire additional cards by attending show functions such as Keynote Address and the General Session. Owens visited ASCO's booth and inserted his card in the ASCO Power Play Reader, which randomly selected 30 finalists, or one every half-hour of the shows. The reader chose Owens as the $5,000 winner on the last day of the show.
