Pin-and-sleeve line meets standards

This line of watertight pin-and-sleeve plugs, receptacles and connectors are designed to meet IEC 309-2, resulting in singly-rated, non-interchangeable configurations. The devices are available in three-, four- and five-pin models with voltages ranging from 110V to 600V and are rated at 20, 30, 60 and 100A. The housings are constructed of flame-retardant, impact-resistant and non-corrosive valox and nylon material. To prevent incorrect mating, the ground sleeves and mating plugs are larger than conventional carrying contacts. Operator protection is further enhanced by a positive locking feature. McGill
