Article 334 covers the use, installation, and construction specifications of nonmetallic-sheathed cable. Installation rules are outlined in Part II of this Article. More specifically, as noted in Sec. 334.12(A)(9), "Types NM, NMC, and NMS cables shall not be embedded in poured cement, concrete, or aggregate."
