Article 600 covers the installation of conductors, equipment, and field wiring for electric signs and outline lighting. As specifically noted in 600.4(C), "The markings required in 600.4(A) and listing labels shall not be required to be visible after installation but shall be permanently applied in a location visible during servicing."
