Article 406 covers the rating, type, and installation of receptacles, cord connectors, and attachment plugs (cord caps). As noted in the last sentence of Sec. 406.9(B)(1), "All 15A and 20A, 125V and 250V nonlocking-type receptacles shall be listed weather-resistant type."
