Article 501 covers the requirements for electrical equipment and wiring installed in Class I, Division 1 and 2 locations. As noted in Sec. 501.125(A)(1), in class I, Division 1 locations, motors, generators, and other rotating electrical machinery shall be identified for Class I, Division 1 locations.
