Cooper Industries, Houston, recently acquired Cyme International, Quebec. Cyme will become part of the Energy Automation Solutions (EAS) group within Cooper Power Systems.

Needham Electric Supply (NESCO), Canton, Mass., has acquired Gettens Electric Supply Co., Fitchburg, Mass. Gettens will continue to operate under its name as “A Division of NESCO, Needham Electric Supply.”

Fenton, Mo.-based Kaiser Electric was recently awarded a contract to wire renovations to the Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville bookstore. Kaiser is providing lighting throughout and power to the new casework, in addition to installing a new fire alarm, public address system, and HVAC system.
