  • Cooper Industries, Houston, recently acquired Cyme International, Quebec. Cyme will become part of the Energy Automation Solutions (EAS) group within Cooper Power Systems.

  • Needham Electric Supply (NESCO), Canton, Mass., has acquired Gettens Electric Supply Co., Fitchburg, Mass. Gettens will continue to operate under its name as “A Division of NESCO, Needham Electric Supply.”

  • Fenton, Mo.-based Kaiser Electric was recently awarded a contract to wire renovations to the Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville bookstore. Kaiser is providing lighting throughout and power to the new casework, in addition to installing a new fire alarm, public address system, and HVAC system.
