Energy and Roofing Alliance to Bring Solar Energy to Homes and Businesses

GE Energy and GAF Materials Corp. form agreement to market and develop solar and roofing systems for commercial and residential customers

Atlanta-based GE Energy and Wayne, N.J.-based GAF Materials Corp. recently formed a strategic alliance to market and ultimately develop solar systems and roofing systems for commercial and residential customers. Under the alliance, the companies offer customers one-stop shopping for new roofs and solar electric systems.

“… This agreement will help to further advance the use of solar energy technology in both residential and commercial applications across North America,” says Victor Abate, VP of renewable for GE Energy.
