Companies will provide real-time energy information over the Web

Aspen Systems, a Maryland-based information management firm, recently formalized a distributor agreement with EnergyICT, a Belgium-based technology firm, to distribute advanced energy monitoring and control devices in the United States.

EnergyICT’s Web RTU, RTU+, and EIServer provide real-time energy information over the Web and use secure Internet connections. These products can be used independently or in combination to provide consumers, utilities, and energy aggregators with a more cost-effective way to respond to peak energy demands.
