Rockwell Automation Awarded Asset Management Service Agreements

Rockwell Automation, Milwaukee, recently signed agreements with six major manufacturers for the management of maintenance repair and operations (MRO) assets at eight facilities in the United States. Representing more than $5 million in annual revenue for Rockwell, these service agreements with industry leaders in transportation, tire and rubber, agricultural equipment, automotive, and consumer products cover approximately $450 million in automation assets. Manufacturing Solutions business will assume inventory and MRO asset management responsibilities at each of the facilities. Rockwell Automation's Asset Management Portfolio (RAAMP) program will be the framework for managing each company’s MRO processes, including tracking repairable assets and product warranties as well as optimizing inventory levels and maintenance resources. Available to Rockwell customers since 1996, the RAAMP solution improves inventory accuracy and helps accelerate part repairs, enabling the companies to reduce MRO expenses, maximize investments, and achieve greater overall profitability.
