Shermco Industries donates $5,000 to Waco Legacy Fund

Dallas-based Shermco Industries recently donated $5,000 a year for the next three years to the Texas State Technical College Waco Legacy Fund. "We're pleased to provide this gift to help support students in pursuit of technical skills," said Ron Widup, executive vice president of Shermco Industries. "Now more than ever we need to nurture the future workforce and encourage them to develop job skills that will lead cutting edge solutions involving complicated technologies."

The Legacy Fund is available to students who need immediate financial assistance for tuition, books, or rent and to faculty members for professional development, says Sophia Mullen, director of development for Texas State Technical College.
