NFPA Votes to Continue Lightning Protection Project

At its October 4, 2001, meeting, the Standards Council of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) voted to continue the project on lightning protection and to issue the 2000 edition of NFPA 780, Standard for the Installation of Lightning Protection Systems. A full decision on the item will be issued “in due course,” according to an NFPA press release.
