BioSolar releases plan to develop and market solar cell backing material

Company expects material to reduce the cost of solar cells

Santa Clarita, Calif.-based BioSolar, Inc., recently laid out its plans to develop and market its solar cell backing material produced from renewable plant sources. The company’s products may be used as the backing material for all solar cells, including those manufactured using industry-standard technology or as “thin film” technologies.
