Irving, Texas-based Shermco Industries, a provider of rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance, and training, recently donated a total of $15,000 to three Orange, Texas, families affected by Hurricane Ike in September. The company and its employees donated 10 $500 Visa gift cards to each of the families.

“Our thoughts are with all those who were affected by the recent hurricane,” says Ron Widup, executive vice president of Shermco Industries. “The damage from Ike was unlike any seen in recent history, and each family that received our donation was a testimony to the widespread devastation felt by so many on the Gulf Coast, and we are happy give our assistance in helping them through a difficult recovery.”
