Automaker tests a fuel cell cogeneration system in some Japanese houses

Toyota Motor Corp. is developing home fuel cells following its success with the launch of fuel cell cars. The automaker has partnered with automotive parts maker Aisin Seiki Co. to launch home fuel cells several years from now.

Toyota is planning to take part in fuel cell demonstration tests subsidized by the Japanese government.
