Omega Engineering’s Web site now features a new “probe configurator” that takes visitors through all the decisions required to configure and price a probe. The Web tool provides context-sensitive help by rolling the mouse pointer over the buttons labeled with a question mark.

While building the probe, if at any point you choose a component that is incompatible with your previous specifications, a box pops up to explain the problem and directs you to a valid alternative. When complete, the program will give you a model number and a price for your customized probe, along with the projected delivery time.
