Deal comes a year after Leviton’s bid fell through

Legrand recently announced plans to acquire On-Q Technologies and combine it with its Greyfox business unit to form On-Q/Legrand. Headquartered in Harrisburg, Pa., the company will become Legrand’s fifth business group in North America.

Doug Friske, former president of On-Q home is the newly appointed president of On-Q Legrand.

This deal comes about a year after Leviton’s planned acquisition of On-Q fell through without explanation.
