Rosendin Electric Receives First Place Honors for Safety with AGC Construction Safety Excellence Award

April 9, 2009
Employee-owned electrical contractor only California contractor tapped for Specialty Division with top honors in Construction Site Safety

Rosendin Electric, San Jose, Calif., has received a first-place award for safety from the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), Arlington, Va. Rosendin Electric is only one of a handful of companies, and the only California contractor, to receive a first place Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA) in the Specialty Contractors division.

Rosendin Electric had to first compete for the California State AGC Willis Construction Safety Excellence Award before they could compete for national honors. The AGC judges examine each company for safety performance, including reviewing the finalists' safety programs, employee and managerial procedures, and resources used to promote safety.
