Prism Electric, Inc. launched a smartphone app today, giving customers access to place service requests, contact the nearest office, get information on the company, and connect to the company's Facebook page. The move is the first of its kind among area electrical contractors.

The company prides itself on providing the best in customer service. Offering a free app makes it even easier for customers to contact the company, no matter the need. The app automatically routes users to the nearest Prism office location through GPS identification.

“From time to time, everyone is away from his computer … but no one is ever apart from their phone for too long,” says Trevor Harbin, a member of the Prism IT team and developer of the new app. “This just makes it one step easier to reach us if you need help.”

The app is available through iTunes:  http://bit.ly/M63cW6.
