Jon Follett, president of Engineered Low Voltage Electrical Systems (ELVES), Columbus, Ga.; Robbie Jones, project manager at Pace Electrical Contractors, Savannah, Ga.; and Tony Varamo, workforce developer for MetroPower, which has branches throughout the state have been elected to the IEC Georgia board of directors.
As a partner member of the IEC, Follett has been instrumental in assisting in expanding the scope of information available to IEC members. He is the current instructor of IEC’s newest topic, “Fire Alarm.”
Jones is an IEC contractor member and a multi-specialty electrical contractor (hospitality, industrial/commercial, multifamily, residential and service). He has been elected to the board of directors for a two-year term during which he will give vital input and leadership for the electrical industry in Georgia.
Varamo has served MetroPower for four years, overseeing recruitment, apprenticeship programs, CEU, and goal alignment of strategic plans. Varamo’s eye for talent and details, gives him an edge on the big picture of business.
