Gaylor Electric Expands in Indianapolis

Dec. 27, 2018
The expansion will double the size of its Noblesville campus and bring in 20 new hires over five years.

Electrical design-build contractor Gaylor Electric, Indianapolis, Ind., plans to expand its operations in Noblesville, Ind., in a project that includes investing $4.4 million in a new facility and hiring 20 employees, according to a report by the Indianapolis Business Journal.

The expansion will double the size of its Noblesville campus by building a 49,000-square-foot prefabrication facility on four acres of undeveloped land. The new building would be used to fabricate electrical packet assemblies that would then be delivered to job sites for installation, the IBJ reported. Gaylor also plans to move its utility division, comprising 26 employees, from rented space in Indianapolis to the Noblesville campus.
