Long committed to providing industry-wide training and education, Leviton Manufacturing launches SEED (School of Electronic and Electrical Devices), a new multimedia training program for contractors, distributors , and end-user customers. A comprehensive wiring device course in a kit, SEED provides basic training and education for the electrical industry, where newcomers are likely to enter the field without a solid electrical background. These kits are available for self-tutorial or classroom-setting instruction on subjects such as switches, receptacles, and GFCIs—with additional kits planned for lighting controls, telecom, and multimedia devices. Each kit includes a 20-min videotape and CD-ROM for Windows 95/98NT.
